Welcome back to school!!! I'm looking forward to a great year! In an effort
to get students to be more involved in reading and involved in what goes on in
the art world, this year I am offering extra credit to students who bring in
newspaper or magazine articles related to the art world. I ask that he or she
bring in the clipped article (current) and write a one paragraph summary of
the article. Each article brought in can be worth up to five points. Points
are based on how well I feel the student fully understood/read the article. I
ask that the paragraph be in their own words and not re-written sentences from
the article.
