Some Things About Mrs. Beauregard!
I have loved to read for as long as I can remember. When I was a little
girl, I kept a flashlight under my pillow in bed and I read when I was
supposed to be sleeping.
Before coming to work at Cross Street Intermediate School, I worked as a
children's librarian in a public library with young children. While there,
it became apparent to me that children who developed a love of reading early
in life had an easier time in school and became better students. I loved my
job and I especially loved the children that I met. I feel fortunate that I
am able to work with your children.
It is important to me that my students know that this is their media
center. They can come in to select a book, do research, or just talk to me
about their favorite books.
-To promote literacy and the enjoyment of reading for all students.
-To provide leadership and expertise in the use of information and
technology.
