Science Research Project and Diorama
Today in Science class, the children chose an animal from the Endangered
Species list. THey will be working on a three week long project researching
their animals, writing a report and creating a habitat diorama. I have some
research materials (books, magazine articles, Internet reprints) in school
however, it would be very helpful for each student to get some additional
information on their own. Suggestions: The Whittamore Library in town and
Internet articles. If they find a good article, please print it out at home
since we have no ink for printing in school. I have added some good websites
to my "Links" page. Feel free to visit these.
Friday Folders
Parents, please remember to check and review the papers sent home each Friday
in your child's Friday Folder. The folder should be returned empty, with the
signature sheet initialed by you, by Tuesday for a sticker.
Soda Can Tabs
Please save soda or other pop top tabs from cans. These will be donated to
The Ronald McDonald House in New Haven. Winning class will get an ice cream
sundae party at the end of the year!
