D.A.R.E.
Last Friday was our first day of the D.A.R.E. Program. The children were sad
to say goodbye to their new friend, Officer Carmine of the Naugatuck Police
Department. On November 19 there will be a graduation ceremony at the high
school to which all families are invited. The students with the winning
essays will read them as part of the ceremony. All students should wear their
new DARE T-shirts to the graduation. Visit the DARE website for additional

Friday Folders
Parents, please remember to check and review the papers sent home each Friday
in your child's Friday Folder. The folder should be returned empty, with the
signature sheet initialed by you, by Tuesday for a sticker.
Soda Can Tabs
Please save soda or other pop top tabs from cans. These will be donated to
The Ronald McDonald House in New Haven. Winning class will get an ice cream
sundae party at the end of the year!
