About The Teacher

I have been teaching in the Naugatuck School System for over 30 years!
A few years ago, I moved to Cross Street from Maple Hill where I had been
teaching third grade for 15 years. I felt it was time for a change and the
move has been a good one for me.

Besides teaching, I am also a mom and wife.  My children Adam and Alissa are
grown compared to my students.  Adam is just beginning law school.  Alissa is
a Teaching Assistant and graduate student pursuing a degree in History.  My
husband, Michael and I have been married for over 30 years.

My hobbies include playing tennis, reading, sewing, gardening and all sorts of
crafts.  One of my favorite places to be is on Cape Cod.

Mission For The Class

My mission for the class is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for my
students to learn at their own pace and express themselves in a positive way.
I also want each student to respect the rights of others while being
encouraging and supportive to their peers.
