“Operation Santa”
This year to help support our troops overseas during the holiday season, Cross Street Intermediate
School will be taking part in “Operation Santa”. We will be supporting two Marine Platoons, each having
between 35 to 50 Marines. We will be filling a stocking for each Marine. Students will make cards that
will be included with the stockings. The following is a list of items we would like to fill the stockings
with. Please give any donations to your child’s homeroom teacher. These are the suggestions:
Snack bars/Granola bars Toothpaste
Snack packs Toothbrush
Crackers & Cookies (small packs) Dental Floss
Beef jerky & sticks Eye Drops for dry eyes
Hot chocolate mix cough drops
Tea or Cider mix Tylenol (travel size)
Powdered drink mix (individual serving size) Lip Balm
Fruit snacks Chap Stick
Handwarmers Nail Clippers
White or drab colored boot socks Razors
Lightweight knit gloves and caps Disposable Camera
Batteries AAA, AA, 9 volt Word game book
Magazines Gum
Stationary Pens
International Calling Card
I would like to thank you in advance for your support. Many of our families at CSIS have family
members and friends that are currently serving or have previously served our country. Being away from
home is hard especially at the holidays. This is our way of showing our thanks and support.
