Homework for Language Arts will be on an as needed basis.
NOTE: Homework will only be accepted 2 days past due date (1st Trimester) 1
day past due date (2nd Trimester) and 0 days past due date (3rd Trimester).
For example, it will be considered a missed assignment on 3rd day (Trimester
1) if not yet handed in. ONLY exceptions are absences.
Please email me first thing in the a.m. with your request for homework in
the event of an absence.
Note: Homework will not be provided if you are expected to be out for
planned vacations during the school year.

Students involved in Literature Circles: It is your responsibility to
complete your reading AND role(s) (IN CLASS) to be ready for the days you
will be meeting! If you are absent, try to have the unfinished work sent
home. Remember to have weekly Journal response completed for Wednesday a.m.
