About The Teacher
Ms. Huffman is fairly new to the Trumbull School System, but has been teaching since 1984. She has degrees and experience teaching Special Education and has graduate degrees and extensive experience in the areas of Gifted and Talented and Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Huffman has a CT Administration certificate and has taught at the elementary, secondary and university levels in several states including TX, NY and CT.

Mission
The mission of the Trumbull Academically Gifted Program is to address the intellectual and social needs of the identified gifted students and to provide them with learning opportunities to explore and expand specific areas of interest. Language Arts Enrichment The objective of the Language Arts Enrichment program is to give students the opportunity to broaden their literary experiences through extensions of the reading and writing program.
