Color Theory Flash Cards!!  10 due every Monday for Ms. Frederick's class & Wednesday for Mrs. Kucenski's.
Starting 1/28 and ending 2/25.  Quiz on the flash cards EVERY Monday following the week of studying.

Color Theory Reading and Questions - Due week of January 2
Sketchbooks will be graded on January 2nd and 28th.  Please check under Sketchbook Assignments for the weekly assignments.
Parents should be checking Power School to see the updated art grades. 
October 9th - Draw your family including pets.
October 1st - Sketchbook Assignment - Draw an animal in motion.

6th graders are responsible for completing a pre assessment sketch for our perspective unit.  They are to draw a landscape using a horizon line and showing 2 houses, a road and a fence going off into the distance or in perspective.
Please do not assist the students!  I am looking to see what they know BEFORE we start the unit!  Thank you!

Sketchbook forms are due on or by 9/19.  Please be sure you complete the form informing Mrs. Cafferty if you will need to purchase a sketchbook through EHA or will get your own.  $6.50 for a hard cover 8x11.

**Students will be sent home an Art Room Procedures and Expectations letter, please read it over with your child, sign the letter and return the cut slip to Mrs. Cafferty.  Please be sure to add an email address where you can easily be reached in case of homework or grade issues.  The letters are due back to Mrs. Cafferty by the second week of school.  Please be sure to write down your child's individual code for retrieving grades from this site - it was attached to the Art Room letter.
