About The Teacher

My undergraduate and graduate degrees were obtained at Old Dominion 
University in Virginia.  My undergraduate degree is in interdisciplinary 
studies, concentrating in both science and history.  My graduate degree is 
in Middle School Education. Prior to teaching in East Hampton I taught 
science at the middle school in Colchester for 9 years.  My son went through 
the East Hampton Middle School prior to our moving from East Hampton to 
Colchester.  He is now attending Georgia Tech as a Bio-Medical Engineer 
Major. I have an 13 year old daughter who is in 8th grade. I look forward 
to getting to know all the students.

Mission For The Class

This year as in every year I teach science my desire is to have students 
investigate and learn the science curriculum in a safe and encouraging 
environment.
