PHILOSOPHY
Music Instruction is an integral part of human development, creating greater
self esteem and a more positive self-concept. It enhances creative and
critical thinking, and problem solving while promoting basic literary skills.
It is my belief that all aspects of our lives benefit from playing a musical
instrument. There is mounting evidence that all forms of inter-personal active
music making (ensembles, private instruction, playing, participation in bands,
choir or orchestra) have significant health and long term wellness benefits.
