Welcome

East Shore Middle School is located adjacent to the borough of Woodmont. Its proximity to the shoreline affords students the opportunity to engage in marine science. Pragmatic learning in all subject areas through a hands-on approach, the learning style that research touts as particularly beneficial to middle school youngsters, is ongoing at East Shore. Similarly, the integrated use of technology focuses on improving students' critical thinking and presentation skills through project-based learning experiences.

East Shore Middle School is committed to assessing educational practices, identifying strengths, and analyzing areas of concern with the goal of maintaining high expectations and increased student achievement. Moreover, East Shore prides itself on recognizing the unique social and emotional needs of each student in a positive school climate that balances effective and affective elements of teaching.
