 Extra Help! When? Where? How?
If you require extra help please see me after of before class so that we can 
set up a mutual time, day and location.   I am available before & after 
school and I have a Study hall Period 4 .  I try to be flexible.

 Make-ups?
If you have to make up a quiz or test, please see me before or after class.  
You can come after school or I have a study hall 4th period, 
or if you would like I will let you sit in the back of one of my other 
classes to make up the quiz/test on your free period.  I allow 2 days after 
the abscense to make up a quiz/test.  Cuts do not apply to the above. A 0 
will go in the gradebook if you cut on a quiz/exam day or fail to make up an 
assignment!

 Extra-Credit?
My philosophy with extra credit is the following.  If you do not have time 
during the semester/term to do your work, what makes you have time at the 
end???  Although, if I look in my grade book/ or know that you put in an 
effort every class, I will give extra credit to boost a grade.  DO NOT come 
to me after you do NO homework or don't pay attention in class, because then 
there will be NO extra credit.  DO your work when you are supposed to and all 
will go well.

 Grades?
I will always have an accurate record of  your grades. The average is based 
on the following formula: 40% Test/Projects (after each chapter), 30% Quizzes 
(after each concept)/Oral Presentation, 15% Homework(every night), and 15 % 
Attendance and Participation.  Do NOT carelessly lose 30% because you do not 
do your homework or show up on time to class.

quicker because I check it more often than the voicemail.  But be sure I will

 Progress Updates?
If you want one, I will be happy to do so.  Just email me at 
JZavodjancik@milforded.org and I will update you as you request. Please give 
me your name, your childs name and email.

 Passes?
I will only be giving passes for emergency purposes.  If you need to use the 
restroom/locker, do so during Passing/Lunch or Study.  Please do not 
interrupt the class or take away from instructional time with pass issues.

 Homework?
Homework is assigned on a nightly basis, and will be check every day.  I tend 
not do give homework on the weekends but I may assign if need be.  Homework 
is imperative to do, not only is it worth 15% of your grade, but it 
reinforces what you learned in class that day.  If you don't understand 
something on the homework you most likely don't understand the concept taught 
in class that day.
