Mr. Cesare currently teaches United States History and Government. He serves
as the lead advisor to the Foran High School Youth and Government Program and
has served as Foran's lead advisor to the SCC. In 2007 he created a new
course, called "Youth and Government", which offers students a hands on
approach to government.
He enjoys reading biographies,
skiing, golfing, and traveling. He has visited many countries in Europe,
the Caribbean and has also traveled extensively around the United States,
Mexico and Canada. He currently is an advisor to the People to People Student
Ambassador Program, and has led student delegations to many countries
throughout Europe.
In 2005, Mr. Cesare was elected as a member of the Hamden Board of Education,
where he now serves as Chairman of Curriculum, and where he also sits on the
finance Committee for the town of Hamden.
Mr. Cesare graduated from Hamden High School, class of 1993, and then
attended Southern Connecticut State University where he earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Political Science and History. He later obtained a Master
of Arts degree in history in August, 2004.
