"B" Day
The annual Holiday Book Fair will take place
on Thursday, December 11th and Friday, December 12th. This fair takes
place in the Foran media Center and is run by students who choose all of the
books and gifts. If you are interested in helping out, please see mrs.
Minichiello in the Media Center.
The Spanish Club will be having a Toys for
Tots fundraiser until December 17th. Please bring in new, unwrapped
toys. Boxes are located by the security booth, Media Center and Main Office.
Thank you for your contributions.
The First Marking Period Honor Roll has been
posted outside of the Media Center and in Guidance. If you feel your
name was omitted or that there is an error, please see your Guidance Counselor
by Monday, December 7th.
There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone
wishing to play softball in the Spring on Tuesday, December 8th. This
meeting is for all returning players and freshmen wanting to try out. The
meeting will be in Room 201 at 2 p.m. See you there!
The Foran High GSA would like to kindly ask
you to come to Uno's Wednesday with a ticket provided by the GSA members.
20% of your order will be donated to our Foran club to help us with our newest
ideas.
There willl be a meeting next Thursday,
December 10th in Room 409 for anyone on Sci-Lions, the Science Olympiad Team. These
meetings are important for the selection of the science events at this year's
Science Olympiad. Selection will be on a first come first selection based on
attendance. If you cannot make either meeting, please contact Mr. Connors.
DECA, the new FBLA, is having a mandatory
meeting Tuesday, December 8th in Mrs. Brown's room, #345. We are
handing out membership pins so make sure you are there. New members are
welcome!
The Bible and Prayer Club, "FUSE will be
meeting this Monday, December 7th after school in the Art Room, #369B. All
are welcome!
Attention anyone wanting to play baseball in
the Spring: There will be a meeting on Monday, December 14th after
school in room 201. If you can't make it, see Coach Williams.
Skiers and snowboarders: there are
still spots available for this year's day and overnight trips. See Mr.
Williams for information.
