I am thrilled to be starting my ninth year teaching at Frenchtown Elementary
School. As the Library Media Specialist, I am lucky enough to see all 600+
students in our school each week. Prior to coming to Trumbull I worked
briefly in Bridgeport as a Library Media Specialist, before that I was a
Media Technician, working with computers, in a Fairfield Elementary School. I
have a Masters in Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University,
a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University and a BA in
History from College of Notre Dame of Maryland. I live in Fairfield with my
wonderful son and daughter. For fun I like to hike, go to the beach, the
movies, concerts and the theater. And, of course, I love to read!
The objective of the Frenchtown Library Media Center is to support the
mission of the school by ensuring that students and staff are effective users
of ideas and information. This objective will be accomplished by promoting
literacy, assisting students accessing and evaluating information,
collaborating in the teaching/learning process and instilling a love of
literature and lifelong learning.
