Each exploration tote is filled
with literature that supports a particular theme. Inside each tote, you will
find children's literature, activities, and a journal. The journal is a
special place where you and your child can respond to the tote's contents.
What did you like? What are some suggestions? What else would be a good
addition to the tote? Please let me know of a special theme your child would
be interested in having. The totes are simply for reading pleasure. They are
not homework and activities will not be graded. My goal is to provide students
with literature and activities to share with their family members. The more we
read, the better we become! This is true whether we are 8 years old or 88 and
up!!!! Each book and activity in the totes are from my personal library
collection. They are special to me and my family in many ways. I entrust each
family to take good care of all of the contents of the tote when they come
home to be shared. Please enjoy, share, and cherish your 2nd grader...time is
going by too fast!
