SCHOOL PHONE: 203-452-4227

Hello, my name is Mrs. Carley. I am excited to be teaching
third grade this year. This will be my seventh year of
teaching in the Trumbull School District. I taught second grade at Jane Ryan
School and Middlebrook where I also taught first grade. I joined Frenchtown
School in the 2010-2011 school year. This will be my first year teaching
third grade.

I graduated from The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s of Science
Degree in Human Development and Family Relations with a concentration in
Early Childhood Education. I earned my Master’s Degree in Teaching from
Sacred Heart University. I became a teacher to bring out the best in
children. I believe each child has their own set of unique qualities and I
feel fortunate to be someone to help nurture those abilities.
I have been married for 10 years to my wonderful husband and best friend. We
have two beautiful daughters, Caitlin and Ashley. My oldest daughter is 6
and she is starting first grade this year. I am enjoying watching Caitlin’s
excitement about going to school. Ashley is 3, and she is excited to start
her first year of pre-school. We had a busy summer filled with new
experiences. We spent a week in Cape Cod where I used to vacation with my
family when I was young. We also took a trip to Canada to Niagara Falls. My
children were fascinated with the beautiful scenery.
During my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, cooking, baking, running, pilates,
yoga, and finding ways to support a healthy, organic and eco-friendly
lifestyle.

Mission for my students:

It is my job to make sure that each student feels comfortable in the
classroom environment. I believe when a child feels happy, secure and safe
their natural abilities will surface. I am honored to be the one who gets
to help your child blossom.
