Your task is to create a Pamphlet for Strategies Study Skills to be used by
someone with a specific learning disability (Students with specific learning
disabilites [SLD] have average to above average intelligence but may have
difficulties acquiring and demonstrating knowledge and understanding). Or to
be used by someone with other health impairment such as attention deficit
disorder (Students with Attention Deficit Disorder [ADHD] have average to
above average intelligence but often have difficulty focusing on tasks, or
are inattentive).
Usually the student does not achieve equal to students his/her age in one or
more of the following areas:
• Oral expression
• Listening comprehension
• Written expression
• Basic reading skill
• Reading fluency skills (not previously included)
• Reading comprehension
• Mathematics calculation
• Mathematics problem solving
