Mrs. Hellekson is enjoying her 4th year at Grasso Tech. She is one of two
TESOL teachers in the building. She has a BS in Psychology from Northeastern
University and an MAT from the School for International Training. She grew
up in Hawai'i. The Hellekson family welcomed a son at the end of September.
Mrs. Schlosser is an excellent teacher who uses her creativity to engage and
enhance learning. She is a native of Connecticut. Ask her about learning
japanese and her grandson.
Ms. Castagna is a Special Education teacher who will work in the lab during
the 10th grade cycle. She has been teaching at Grasso for roughly 20 years.
She brings her extensive knowledge and her humor to the class. She also
enjoys golf.
The mission is to increase student achievement through the teaching of
strategies, sentence writing and some fun.
