Mrs. Hellekson is enjoying her 3rd year at Grasso Tech. She is one of two
TESOL teachers in the building. She has a BS in Psychology from Northeastern
University and an MAT from the School for International Training. She grew
up in Hawai'i. She is also expecting her first child in September. The
Hellekson family is extatic.
Mrs. Schlosser is an excellent teacher who uses her creativity to engage and
enhance learning. She is a native of Connecticut. Ask her about japanese and
her grandson.
Mr. Tjardes is a special education teacher that loves social studies and
helping students. He is also a native of Connecticut. He is quite possibly
the funniest teacher in the building.
The mission is to increase student achievement through the teaching of
strategies and some fun.
