NOTE: Although Homework only counts for 10%, it is a very important way to
prepare for success in my class. I strategically assign homework that will
help you with Classwork, Labs & Projects, and Tests & Quizzes. I have found
that students that complete less than 75% of the Homework generally place
themselves in academic difficulty and with attention problems because they
are not prepared for Classwork.
Imagine going to work on a major construction project if you have not
even looked at the plans.
Imagine if I dropped my car off and asked you to fix it without a hint
of the problem.
HOMEWORK IS A VALUABLE LEARNING TOOL AND IN SCIENCE IT IS A KEY TO
SUCCESS! JUST DO IT!!!

REMEMBER THE WAY IT IS GRADED DEPENDS ON:
COMPLETE
ON-TIME (in class at the beginning of the class on the day it is due!)
DONE TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY
LATE HOMEWORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR CREDIT! I will note that you did
make it up but you will not earn points for it.
MAKEUP WORK - CT Technical High School policy is that students have two days
after an absence to submit make up work. I will adhere strictly to this
policy because it is too hard with our cycles to make up work if you fall
too far behind. If you are out of school on a field trip please see me for
makeup classwork.
