Students in the Skills and Strategies for Reading classes will
improve/increase individual levels of competence in reading expository
nonfiction material, skimming and scanning, editing and revising, selective
highlighting, note taking using auditory and visual resources, study group
participation, utilization of memory development strategies, test taking
techniques, application of the research process, and technology literacy
skills.
