Miss DeSarbo is starting her first year within the Milford Public School
District. She has previously taught within other districts from entry level
Spanish up to AP Spanish V at the high school level. She graduated with a BS
in Spanish, earning some of her credits abroad in Spain. Miss DeSarbo is
currently pursuing her master's in School Health.
My goal as your child’s world language teacher is to guide him/her toward
beginner proficiency in the Spanish language. Students will expand in their
ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, feelings, and actions in Spanish.
Respect for cultural diversity will be encouraged as students learn more
about the Spanish-speaking countries of the world. Students will grasp study
and organizational skills for successful second language acquisition.
