We are in the middle of working on our Holocaust Voice Thread Project.  This 
is an in-class project due on Friday, May 25.

Third trimester independent reading project due May 25 (TOMORROW).  Details 
are below.

Write a 1000 character (with spaces) REVIEW of your independent reading book 
in Microsoft Word.  You are NOT writing a summary of the book.  Your review 
should help another student decide whether or not to read your book.  Do not 
reveal the ending in your review!

Print out after proof reading and checking character count. You will submit 
this copy to me for a grade. Then, save a copy into WPP under "Destiny"  so 
it can be uploaded into Destiny, our online media center reference website, 
at a later date.

**To check the character count of your review -- go into Microsoft Word, 
click on "Review" tab, then select "Word Count" tab.  Look for "characters 
with spaces" count and be sure it is between 900 and 1000 CHARACTERS (not 
words!).

WEEKLY INDEPENDENT READING REQUIREMENTS

***You should be reading 20 minutes a night!  Reading logs will be checked!  
Weekly parent signature required.***

Students should be reading an age and grade level appropriate book of their 
own choosing.  Independent reading should an enjoyable experience.  See me 
for suggestions!
