The Gifted Program Presentation night is the culmination of the work
Gifted students complete from October through May on their individual or
small group independent investigations. Students are asked to:
1. Investigate a problem or challenge in an area of interest to them
2. Apply what is learned in a creative way (using creative and critical
thinking skills.
Families of the students are invited to hear and view presentations that
each explain what the student (and his or her group) accomplished and
learned.
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE PRESENTATION:
Students in each project group need to create a large visual project
display, in addition to any other items or products they may create.
Our event typically takes place in the Media Center. Parents and
families visited the various project stations, to see what all of the
students in the program had accomplished.
In the spring, families will receive a formal invitation to this event.
