Enrichment Project Presentation night is the culmination of the work
Enrichment students complete from October through May on their individual or
small group independent projects. Students are asked to:
1. Learn something new in an area of interest to them
2. Apply what is learned in a creative way (using creative and critical
thinking skills.
Families of the students are invited to hear and view presentations that
each explain what the student (and his or her group) accomplished and
learned.
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE PRESENTATION:
Students in each project group need to purchase one project display
display board (a Science Fair type tri-fold board). These boards can be
purchased at an office supply store or stores such as WalMart. Most of
the work on these boards will be completed in school.
If the student or group needs more than the official class time,
arrangements can be made to work on the board or presentation after school.
Late busses are available on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Last year our event took place in the Media Center. Parents and
families visited the various project stations, to see what all of the
students in the program had accomplished.
In the spring, families will receive a formal invitation to this event.
