Monday - For practice, answer Assessment questions Chapter 3 Section 1 page
79, #1 through 3 - all parts - DUE WEDNESDAY.
Tuesday - Complete the page 79 assignment.
Wednesday - STUDY Key Term definitions from page 74 that you defined last
week.
Thursday - Complete Atom Model Project due tomorrow.
Friday - No Homework (unless make up work needs to be completed)

* The focus of study this week is on the structure of the atom and its
electrical nature.
* Check out my Fun Science Links - great websites that relate to our current
study topic and specially chosen to help you understand atoms more easily!
Monday - Complete Lab investigation questions - due tomorrow.
Tuesday - Define the Key Terms listed on page 74. Make sure you have read
all of Section 1 from Chapter 3.
Wednesday - No Homework

November 16 - 20, 2009
* The focus of study this week is states of matter: how they change, and
behavior of gases (Boyles Law and Charles Law).
* QUIZ on Friday!
* Due to Parent/Teacher Conferences, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are on
an early dismissal schedule.
Monday - Complete the short practice, "Changes of State". Refer to Chapter 2
Section 2.
Tuesday - Fill in the Concept Map: Solids, Liquids, Gases AND the Vocabulary
answers and Word Find on the back. Both sides are due Thursday.
Wednesday - Complete Wednesday's assignment.
Thursday - Finish the 6-Square Info-chart that we've been working on in class
each day, and study Chapter 2, Sections 1 and 2 for tomorrow's QUIZ.
Friday - No Homework except make-up work. (Several students who are
frequently absent need to hand in missed assignments related to chemical and
physical changes before their scores become zero!)
