Is there an art club?

Yes, art club meets Thursdays after school in room 104. It is run by Ms. Daphne 
Watson Blackwell.

How can I nurture my child's artistic ability?

There are many ways to do this. First make sure there are always lots of art supllies on 
hand. Try and visit art museums and go to galleries where artists display their work. 
Make sure your child has  time every day to sit down and do something creative.

Art is just for fun, right?

While art is fun, it is also considered a core subject by the United States Government. 
Studies show that students who are involved in the arts not only perform better on 
standardized tests, but they usually earn higher grades in other classes, and are well-
adjusted emotionally.
