Instructor: Mr. John Burns
The winter concert will be on Monday December 21st. Location will be at Foran High School. Time will be 7:00 PM.
The Spring concert will be on June 3rd. Location will be at Foran High School. Time will be 7:00PM.
Students should arrive around 6:15-6:30 so that they have time to tune their instuments.
Dress for girls will be a white dress shirt or blouse with either ablack skirt or pants. Girls have the option to wear a black dress.
Boys will wear white botton down shirt and black dress pants.
Strings Class Grading Policy:
Daily Class Readiness:- 50%
Written work- 10%
Quizzes- 10%
Concert Performance-30%
It is important for students to bring their music and instruments to each class. I encourage students to make a time for practicing their instruments at home each day. Students who take the time to practice improve much more quickly than students who do not put in the time.
