Please remember to save your recyclable cans and bottles and bring them to 
our Recycling Drive on Satuday, December 19!  The third grade teachers will 
be collecting these items at the front of the school from 9 A.M. until 12 
noon.  All funds will go directly to purchasing in class programs from Mystic 
Aqaurium for the third graders.  If you have any questions about this 
fundraising event or would like to help the teachers, please contact me!

We have begun our study of the Midwest region.  There will be a quiz of 
both the names of the capitals and the locations of the states on Wednesday, 
December 16.  A study guide and flashcards were sent home with your child.  
Please make sure your child is studying!

Please make sure your child is practicing basic addition and subtraction 
facts nightly.  Check out both the "Parent Websites" and "Links" on my page 
if you need assistance with helping your student with memorizing facts.

Thank you to all for attending conferences!  I enjoyed discussing your 
child's progress with you and look forward to teaching the students for the 
rest of the year!

As the weather gets colder, please make sure your child comes to school with 
the appropriate outerwear for outdoor weather.  Thank you!
