Homework will be assigned nightly, excluding Fridays. Students will begin
the year completing Everyday Math Homelinks assignments, which review skills
taught in daily math lessons. Beginning in October, language arts
assignments, focusing on basic skill acquisition, will be assigned along with
the daily math review. Students will also begin to take guided reading books
home with them to reread as part of nightly homework beginning in November.
Information on spelling lists and weekly assessment will follow in the early
winter months.
