I am just beginning my first year at the Horace W. Porter School and I have
just loved meeting all of the students and staff! Prior to teaching first
grade at Porter, I worked teaching both first and second grades in
Massachusetts. I grew up in Vernon, Connecticut, but moved after graduation
to attend Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. Although I thoroughly
enjoyed living and teaching in Massachusetts, I made the decision this past
summer to move back to the area to be closer to friends and family. I am
very happy with my decision and my new career move.
