We used stick puppets with Mrs. Cawley to practice language patterns from this story.

During the month of November, we are learning about foods. We are reading both fiction and nonfiction books on this topic. This book has wonderful pictures and helped us to learn interesting vocabulary. After reading it, we talked about our favorite fruits.

We worked in groups to make leaf patterns for our bulletin board. We took turns adding the next color to our repeating pattern. Red, yellow, orange, brown, red, yellow, orange... what comes next?

We sorted these blocks into two groups: "rectangles" and "not rectangles".

This time, we sorted a different way. We sorted by color.

We like to do experiments at the Science Table.

We sorted the cubes into two groups ("brown" and "not brown"). We used our fine motor skills in this game by using clothespins to pick up the cubes and drop them into their spots.
