Homework is an important reinforcement of lessons learned during our classes
each day. Homework is expected to be completed and returned on time. I will
try to avoid homework on weekends although some assignments may make weekend
homework necessary. If your child is experiencing difficulty with his/her
homework regularly, please feel free to contact me so that we may discuss
the matter.
Missing Work Alerts may be arriving at your home if your child has not
turned in work during the week. The alerts are sent home on Fridays. They
should be signed by a parent and returned to me on Monday.
Your child will have spelling and math packets assigned weekly. These are
given
on Monday and are due by Friday morning. These are in addition to the regular
daily homework. These packets reinforce skills students will be using all year
long and provide opportunities for students to practice time management
skills.
