Students have visited Madrid and the regions of Extremadura, Murcia, and
Castilla de la Mancha. We have talked about art and Spanish artists as well as
the story of Don Quixote, which they are hearing now.

We have also visited the region of Castilla y León where I studied while in
college.

We reviewed our colors and are in the process of review the numbers 1-20 as
well as learning 20-100.

Along with the numbers, we read Build a Burrito (a counting book) and have
created the text for our own build a ... books. We will be illustrating these
over the next several classes.

Students should review the numbers 1-10 and how to spell the word for a quiz
that will be coming up during the week of 11/23 -11/25
Monday 11/23 number quiz for Day 2
Tuesday 11/24 number quiz for Day 3
Wednesday 11/25 number quiz for Day 1

This week students continued to work on their books and visited the region of
Andalusia. Please ask your students about their books and the cities that they
"visited".
