PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION STATEMENT...
My philosophy of education centers around the belief that every child can
learn! Regardless of what skill level your child is at, he/she is capable
(and most times eager!) to rise to a new level. The children naturally seek
to make sense of reading, writing, mathematics and social studies/science
because these subjects are an integral part of the world around them.
I believe that your job as a parent is equally as important as my job as a
teacher. The support you provide at home, your attitude towards schooling,
and the experiences you enrich your child's life with are all important
factors in his/her approach to education.
I am thankful for such wonderful and caring families in the community of
Columbia. By working together, we can watch your child blossom during the
course of the school year!
