I graduated from Tufts University in 1973 with a Bachelor's Degree
in Child Study. I was hired that fall and have enjoyed a long and exciting
career as a teacher at Porter since that time. I received my Master's
Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Connecticut. I am the
proud mother of two daughters, Alexis and Amanda. Alexis has graduated
from college and is working in the Boston area. She was married on September
3, 2006 and has since bought a house in Beverly, MA. She and her husband,
Nat, are the proud owners of a black lab named Swarley. Amanda
graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in the spring of 2006 and
has been working on Long Island at the Hyatt Hotel. She is a Food and
Beverage manager at the restaurant in the hotel. On July 22, 2006, I was
joyously married to Mr. Ron Cavallaro. I will continue to use my maiden name
of Zaglio. I am now living in Johnston, Rhode Island in a beautiful old home built
in 1741.
