My Name is Ian Feller. I will be teaching at JFK and Live Oaks this year. I
have lived in Milford for twenty two years and just recently moved to West
Haven. I attended Meadowside, Harborside, and Jonathan Law. I graduated from
Keene State College in May 2007 with a degree in K-12 Physical Education
Teacher Certification. I really love sports and activity. I still play
baseball, basketball, and softball in Milford recreation leagues. Last year I
worked at Wilton High School in the library computer lab as a technology aid.
I also coached girls soccer, indoor track, and lacrosse. This is my first
teaching job, and I am very excited it is in Milford. Physical activity brings
me a great amount of enjoyment, and I am looking forward to sharing that with
the students.
Number one is have fun. I want students to enjoy my class and activity and
look forward to physical activity inside and outside of school. Our students
will continue to develop movement patterns , balance, coordination, and
physical fitness. I will try to teach the students why activity is important
and how activity can lead to a healthier lifestyle. Ours students will have
many opportunities for success and will hopefully find an activity they will
enjoy for a lifetime.
