| All of the homework in Room 6 directly relates and builds upon what we are
currently learning in the classroom. It is essential that students complete
homework assignments on time. Please let me know if your child is having
difficulty with homework or if assignments seem to be too easy. We can work
together to make homework a positive challenge for us all.
• Special Homework Activities/Projects will be sent home with specific
directions and due dates.
• Weekly Homework Packets: Go home on Monday and are to be finished and
returned to school on Friday.
• Reading at Home: Each family is expected to read about 15 minutes
each
night. Keep track of your minutes and they will be tallied on a chart at
school. When we reach our goal of 5,000 we will have a reading celebration.
• Extra learning at Home: A few suggestions are making sure your child
can tie
his/her shoelaces, spell their first and last name, address, phone number.
