 Learning For All

We, the John F. Kennedy School Community, are committed to Learning for All students. We believe human growth and continuous improvement occur when members of the learning community set common goals and work together to achieve them in a climate of mutual respect, trust, and acceptance of individual differences. To build and sustain our learning community, each individual voice must be heard and validated in a safe environment. All participants must have an active role in this ongoing, collaborative process. As we work together in an organized and focused manner, being respectful of individual strengths and opinions, we will seek to balance the needs of all members. Continuous reflection will guide our efforts to create and sustain a positive school climate in which we strive to maximize student learning and achieve our shared goals.

Absence Notification
"Our Connect-Ed system can now automatically call a parent to notify them that their child is absent from school. This option is only used if a parent forgets to call their child out as absent."

Personalized Message System
The Superintendent of Schools as well as building administrators have the ability to utilize a telephone messaging system in order to share emergency communications or informative messages with parents and staff. Within a very short time the Connect-ED system can deliver the same personalized message to thousands of recipients. This system has received rave reviews from parents throughout the district as an instant and easy way to get important information via the telephone. Now the system will be even better, thanks to an extremely helpful new feature - the Play it Again number. If you didn't hear the entire message the first time - (kids got the message and it's erased, or the message didn't deploy correctly), or you simply want to hear it again, simply call -- 1-877-737-5291. The message will play in its entirety for you. For easy access post this number near your phone.
