Language Arts

In 3rd grade, the students will continue to work on narrative writing pieces using the writng diamond. The 1st focus will be on writing exciting beginnings. The students will also be comleting quick writes and weekend news weekly in their classrooms. In grammar, we are currently learning about possessive nouns and pronouns. We are also doing a lot of editing and revising to get ready for the upcoming tests.

** The students also begin their day with D.O.L which stands for Daily Oral Language. They proofread and edit 2 sentences per day on the board.
