How often is homework given?

Every night except Friday.

Do classes switch for any subjects?

Third grade students switch classes for Science and Social Studies.  Ms. 
Gabriel and Ms. McDonald swith with each other and Mrs. Brown and Mrs. 
Spielman switch.

Are there going to be field trips?

Yes, 3rd grade students go on four field trips.  Information about field 
trips will be sent home several weeks prior to the trip.

Can my child celebrate his/her birthday in school?

Yes, on the day of your child's birthday send in the treat and his or her 
teacher will help celebrate.  Please be aware that there are peanut-free 
classrooms.

What do I do to contact a teacher?

You can either send in a note with your child, or contact the school office.  
Your child's teacher will respond as soon as she can.
