Science

Students are expected to come to class each day with their science book (covered), their binder with their science notes and worksheets, dated and in order, their homework assignment notebook, a pencil, erasable blue or black pen, and a red pen.

Each night, students are expected to study the notes they took from class that day and review any pages in the text book that were read and discussed. At times, there will also be written homework.

Tests are announced a week ahead and quizzes may be given at any time.

The children have been exploring force, motion, friction and "work" in the scientific world. They are participating in hands-on activities, reading in our science books, and learning new vocabulary. We are just beginning to learn about Newton's three Laws of Motion.
