<DIV align=left>The grade you earn will be calculated using a total points system. This method is useful because you can calculate your own grade at any time during the course. This is simply done by dividing the total amount of points you have earned by the total amount of points possible. The amounts of possible points for assignments are as follows:<BR>

                                                Tests 100<BR>
                                                Projects/Papers 50-150<BR>
                                                Quizzes 25-50 </DIV>

*Class participation includes arriving on time to class with assignments completed, book, notebook, pen or pencil, and contributing to class in a positive manner.<BR>
