TRAVEL POSTER PROJECT-Spanish 2-ORAL COMMON ASSESSMENT 2 Work in teams of three to design a tri-fold poster promoting a Spanish speaking country from this list: Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Guatemala INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Use a standard size tri-fold poster board 2. Decorate with pictures or drawings to relate with places and activities that you would suggest for tourists (at least three pictures are required for each command) 3. THE ONLY WORDS ON THE POSTER SHOULD BE THE NAME OF THE COUNTRY IN LARGE BOLD BLOCK LETTERS THAT CAN EASILY BE READ FROM A DISTANCE AT THE TOP CENTER AND THE FIVE COMMANDS!!!!!!!! 4. Include the following information ORALLY in Spanish WITHOUT notecards! Where your country is located (Caribe? Centroamerica? Norteamerica? Sudamerica?) 5. What is it like? Describe it. Is it pretty? Mountainous? Interesting? Big? Small? Must include at least FIVE adjectives to describe. 6. Use the following FIVE commands in Spanish to create your poster and to present your information. The ONLY words to be printed are the five command words! Everything else should be photos and spoken words! A. VISIT! (insert three buildings a tourist should visit there) B. LOOK AT! (insert three things a tourist should see such as statues, parks, beaches, zoos, stores) C. TAKE PHOTOS OF! (insert three things that a tourist should take pictures of, such as clothing, famous people, food, transportation, holidays, mail boxes, signs) D. BUY! (insert three things that a tourist should buy there, typical souvenirs from the country) E. ________! (insert one other command that a tourist should do while there) F. A BIG finale! Don't just Say "that's it", sell us so we want to go to that country. USE A COMMAND! G. Bring in a food or beverage sample from thae country to share with the class. There are a total of nine sections, including 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D, 6E, 6F, and 6G. Each person in the group is responsible for three sections. You may divide them up as yout team agrees. Your project will be evaluated on the following criteria: 1. accent and pronunciation 2. fluency 3. accuracy 4. content 5. following instructions 6. creativity 7. proper use of commands 8. correct grammar 9. neatness 10.how well your team worked together
