My name is Señorita Sánchez and I will be your Spanish teacher this year. There are very important rules for my class. Please make sure that you observe them carefully, this will minimize waste of class  time.

 

1. Be ON TIME, homework out, ready to start work when the bell rings. If you are late, have a pass. Tardiness without a pass will result in teacher detention.

2. Bring ALL your materials with you daily: text, workbooks, notebook, homework, composition paper and SEVERAL writing instruments, including pens AND pencils. NO PASSES will be given if you forget them, NO CREDIT will be given for late work unless your absence is excused. A teacher detention will be issued if you come unprepared for class.

3. No passes are issued except to the nurse.

4. Work hard the entire class period.

5. If you know ahead of time that you will miss class, get your work ahead of time. Failure to do so will result in a zero for that work.

6. No food, drink, gum or candy is allowed in the classroom, teacher detention will be issued to violators.

7. Late projects and presentations will be lowered by one letter grade per day that it is late.

8. I will be happy to make appointments for make up work during your study halls or before school. However, unkept appointments for make up work will result in a zero for that work.

9. It is YOUR responsibility to get and hand in make up work when you are absent! Whatever number of days you are absent is the number of days you have to finish your make up work and hand it in. Make up work needs to be done immediately upon return. Failure to do so will result in zeros!

10. Homework is posted daily on teacherweb.com. It is YOUR responsibility to check it daily for assignments.
