 Welcome

Welcome to our school! We believe in growing with each day. An English Proverb states, "Great oaks from little acorns grow." The potential that lies within each tiny acorn is huge, just as it is in each of us. Nature rewards persistence and patience of the acorn by giving it the strength to grow into a powerful, mighty oak. Realizing your natural potential will help you to achieve great results and continue to grow each day.

When you believe in yourself, the sky's the limit!

Message from the Principal

Dear Live Oaks Families,
Ahhhhh! The holiday season is upon us and with it our spirits rise in anticipation of giving and receiving, spending time with friends and family, and spreading joy. Please remember those who may be less fortunate than you and help by offering a smile or more. We have a holiday giving tree in our lobby and we are holding a community fundraiser on December 9th to help our community members that are in need. Thank you for all of your support all year long and have a wonderfully happy holiday season!
Sincerely,
Ms. L.

TRAFFIC BACK UPS!!!

Please adhere to all traffic rules when using the turn-around in the a.m. Pull all the way forward; drop your child off - and move on. Right turn only when exiting the lot. Do not walk through the drop-off area -- use the cross-walk and go around. We are concerned about the safety of all of our community members. Thank you for your cooperation.

One of 100 Best!

Milford is recognized by America's Promise
Milford was again named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People, in part, because of its emphasis on teaching "life skills" to all youth. Each high school has a "life skills" program to prepare students for "the real-world". Junior Achievement offers a career development program in many of the schools partially funded by Milford's Promise, the United Way, Rotary Club, and local businesses as well as our state legislative delegation. These programs are based on life-skills such as understanding your community, successful resume writing and interviewing skills. The YMCA and Milford's Promise have also implemented after-school programs based on the principles of team building and respect, skills that are integral to future success. Milford was also recognized for its growing Youth Network, which fosters communication and partnerships along the youth servicing agencies in Milford.
