Grade 8 Updates

Dear Parents,
The time has come for our winter concert! The students are excitedly
anticipating their performance at Madison Middle School and together we would
like to invite you to attend. The concert will be on Tuesday, December 8th at
7:00pm in the Madison Middle School auditorium. Those students participating
need to arrive early and go to their prospective meeting places and sign in:
Mr. Cohen’s Grade 7 Chorus - band room at 6:45pm
Ms. Saunders Grade 7 and Grade 8 Choruses – opposite ends of the cafeteria at
6:45pm
Mr. Cohen’s Grade 8 Chorus – middle of cafeteria at 6:45
This concert is part of the student’s music program and attendance is
expected. As a symbol of unity and membership of the group, all chorus
students are to follow the guidelines for concert attire:
Boys - white dress shirt, tie, dark pants preferred (khaki
acceptable) and shoes.
(Ties must be tied prior to arriving to the concert please.)
Girls - white tops, black skirts (knee length or longer), and
appropriate shoes for standing on risers.
Please try to follow these guidelines as closely as possible in an effort to
ensure all students feel as though they belong. Should this present a
problem, please give us a call at (203) 452-4499.
Lastly, as we have in the past, we are requesting a two-dollar
donation for tickets. If this presents a financial hardship, please write a
note asking that we waive this for the number of tickets that you will need.
Tickets could be purchased in advance, but can be bought at the door prior to
the concert.
We truly look forward to your presence at the concert. See you there!
