Guided Reading: We are looking for volunteers. If you are willing to help please contact me and I will forward your name. Thank you, we really appreciate it! We will not start guided reading yet, I will post the date here of when we will start. Please make sure your child reads the guided reading book/paper every night and sign their record sheet. Also, the book must be returned the next day! Thank you!
Reading Calendars: In second grade we expect the students to read for at least 15 minutes each night! Their goal is to read 20 books a month. Parents must write how long their child read and sign it. It is very important that your child reads every night. If students reach the goal for the month, they will be rewarded with a lunch bunch (eating lunch with the teacher). Remember that Reading Takes You Places!
